Doug Weaver

Principal/Owner

Doug served 4 years in the US Navy as Interior Communications Specialist.  He attended CPCC for Business Administration.  Working at Duke for 24 years as a Nuclear Supervisor which included performing Power Factor Testing low and medium voltage circuit breaker testing, repair and reconditioning. 

Attended schools at GE and Westinghouse.  

Doug founded Carolina Precision Switchgear in 2006. 

He is married with three children and eight grandchildren.

Brad was accepted into the electrical apprenticeship in 1999 and obtained his Journeyman license for Commercial/Industrial in 2004.  He worked in multiple manufacturing and Power generation plants as an electrician. In 2010 he obtained his Unlimited Electrical Contracting License which is still current.  He is a Certified PEARL Level II Technician as well as a Level II Certified Infrared Thermographer.  In 2009 Brad started working at Carolina Precision Switchgear as a Breaker Technician and has worked his way to his current position of Operations Manager/Owner.

Paul began his career as a Navy Electrician's Mate in 1988.  Since then he has gone from being a Field Service Technician, Field Service Engineer, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager and Sale/Operations Manager.  His extensive technical and sales knowledge also includes Engineering Resource, Protective Relay Testing, Power Quality Testing, Training, Project Management and Electrical Safety and NFPA 70E Compliance.
