Answer: All major brands, including to ABB, Westinghouse, General Electric, Allis Chalmers, Square D, and Cutler-Hammer.
Question: Do you have technicians that can remove covers from energized low voltage switchgear to perform infrared survey inspections?
Answer: Yes, CPS keeps a qualified staff of electrical technicians who have been arc flash-trained and can remove covers from low voltage switchgear while energized.
Question: Can you upgrade a low voltage circuit breaker with OD type tripping devices to a new solid state tripping unit?
Answer: Yes, we can retrofit your aging tripping devices. CPS can recommend a tripping device for your application or retrofit with your required unit.
Question: Can Carolina Precision Switchgear perform on-site circuit breaker service?
Answer: Yes, we are also a mobile company that can perform circuit breaker preventative maintenance, repair and reconditioning at your facility or ours.

Question: Does my equipment need to be shut down to perform the infrared thermography inspection?
Answer: No, because all equipment must be operating during our inspection. All electrical and mechanical equipment should be under full load during the inspection.
Question: What will I receive with an infrared thermography survey?
Answer: You will receive photo quality pictures and a full report analyzing your equipment or building.
